Why We Start to Feel Pain

When your upper back (thoracic spine) or pelvis gets stiff or out of balance, it causes your shoulders to roll forward and inward.

This puts extra tension on your neck and shoulder muscles, which can make them feel tight or uncomfortable.

How Pelvic Position Affects Your Lower Back and Hips

When your pelvis tilts backward (posterior tilt), it pulls on the muscles around your lower back. At first, this can just feel like discomfort—but over time, it can turn into real lower back pain. What’s worse is that if this pelvic misalignment continues, it can also make your hips unstable. This puts extra stress on the joints and muscles around the hips, often leading to hip pain. In fact, many cases of hip pain start from this kind of postural issue.
Even elbow or knee pain can sometimes be linked to poor alignment throughout the body.
